Every aspect of celebrities are in the public eye, so they can’t risk having ordinary engagement rings. Some celebrity couples are willing to pitch out a fortune to please their significant others. Here are a few examples.
One of the most well-known couples in the world is Jay-Z and Beyonce. Both people are famous artists that have had a major impact on the music industry. It’s only right that Jay-Z spent a whopping $5 million on Beyonce’s engagement ring. It’s one of the most expensive rings bought by any celebrity. This 18 carat diamond ring deserves such a price tag. The world wants them to last, so hopefully this extravagant ring shows how strong their relationship is. Beyonce is a phenomenal sensation, and her ring symbolizes that.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were another high profile celebrity couple. Not because of their status in the world, but because of the fact they were only married for 72 days. Kris must’ve thought that the relationship would last because he spent a staggering $2 million on Kim’s engagement ring. It included 20.5 carats with a 16.5 carat emerald center. Unfortunately it wasn’t money well spent, because now Kim is dating Kanye West and has a baby on the way. Will Kanye be willing to shell out that much cash on a ring?
Another couple that’s well known is Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Mariah was a smash artist in the 90’s, and Nick has been a famous actor for a while. This relationship was a surprise to many because of the age difference between the two, but love is love. Especially when you spend $2.5 million on an engagement ring. They got engaged back in 2008. Mariah’s 17 carat pink diamond is almost as big as her career in the 90’s!About the Author:
