  • What kind of rings do you buy?
We buy all different types of rings. Wedding and engagement rings, men’s rings, antique and modern rings. We buy silver, gold, platinum and titanium rings and buy diamonds of all different sizes and qualities. From a quarter carat to four carats, and everything in between, we have the knowledge, resources, and ability to evaluate and purchase all types of diamond rings.

How much is my ring worth?
The value generally depends on the quality and the size of the diamond, and the weight of the metal of the ring. Generally the value of a diamond ring is approximately one fourth of the original cost. There are a variety of reasons for this including market factors, transportation costs and the jewelers overhead. In an effort to be able to offer you the most money for your ring, we conduct business online, so we have minimal overhead. That results in the best offer for you, our customer.

Who gets the ring in a divorce? / Do I own my ring?
This is a question only you can answer. If you are not the rightful owner of a ring we will not purchase it for you. If you have been through a divorce, there is a high probability that the female spouse is the owner of the ring. But before you send the ring to us, please be sure you have the legal authority to sell it. Laws can differ depending on what state or county you are divorced in.

Is it safe to mail you my ring?
We have never had any trouble receiving clients packages. To ensure that everything remains safe and secure, we use a PO Box to receive packages, and we self address the envelope we send to our customers just to make sure. All mail is sent USPS First Class Mail with Insurance.

What if I want my ring back?
We will happily return your ring to you any time before we issue payment. If you send us your ring and change your mind, just send us an email with your request and your customer number and we will happily and quickly mail your ring back to you in a discrete and secure package.

Do you report this transaction to the IRS?
We do not report our transactions to the IRS; it is your responsibility to report the information to any appropriate organizations. We do comply with the Patriot Act, and we may request further information from our customers from time to time in order to maintain our full compliance.

Can you appraise my ring for me?
Unfortunately we cannot. There is a conflict of interest when a potential buyer issues an official appraisal. If you would like to receive an appraisal here is a link to the American Gem Society tool to help you find an appraiser: Find An Appraiser.

    Do you buy stolen rings?
No. If you have a stolen ring we strongly suggest you call the police and turn yourself in. We keep meticulous records, and we will only disburse funds for rings in the form of a check, to help ensure that their is a paper trail. We comply with all law enforcement efforts to combat theft.
