Whether you’re traveling to the beach or a mountain area, you will probably want to have some kind of jewelry with you. It could be a necklace to wear while going out to eat or a delicate bracelet while laying outside at the pool. In order to keep your jewelry from getting tangled or lost, there are a few tips you can keep in mind for storing it while you travel.
A straw is a tool that can be used for more than just drinking. Thread a necklace through a straw, and clip it so that it stays in one place. This will help prevent the necklace from tangling while in a bag or box. If you have ever lost a button, you might not know what to do with it, but it can be useful while traveling. They can be used as earring holders. Simply clip a pair of earrings through the holes on a button, and keep the buttons in a container or box in a suitcase so that they are in one place.
Another option for earrings is to keep them on a foam plate. You can easily push the earrings through the foam, attaching the back on them so that they stay. Add Styrofoam to a lunchbox so that you have a place to keep pins and other items that have a sharp backing. A pouch will work for larger pieces of jewelry, such as plastic bracelets. A toilet paper roll can also hold bracelets and small necklaces.
