The Diamond iPad

There was a funny article in the news today about a diamond seller in Washington DC who created the worlds first (and only we assume) diamond studded iPad. It looks like a pretty unique way to make your tech gadget stand out, but we have a few questions before we dive in and order one…

1) Will all of that bling affect the reception of the iPad? I mean really, what good is an iPad without the spotty AT&T coverage that has made the iPhone so popular.
2) How much weight will it add? Does this particular outer layer make the iPad more of a desktop item?
3) Is it TSA safe, or am I going to light up the metal detector like a Christmas tree next time i fly?

Regardless of the answer to these pressing questions, Mervis Diamonds certainly has a unique spin on the jewel case!
